We live in gorgeous Wisconsin

Producing ONLY normal eyed and normal eyed non carrier puppies!
Our puppies do not have collie eye due to selective breeding

We do selective breeding so that all Garlind Ridge puppies are free of collie eye being either normal eyed or normal eyed non carriers for collie eye

The most common health issue in collies is collie eye. When collie eye is severe enough, it can cause blindness

Welcome to Garlind Ridge Collies located in beautiful southwestern Wisconsin.
Once you get to know us, you will know how much we love our animals.
Along with raising collies, we are dairy farmers and have miniature horses. As you will see, our animals are a huge part of our lives.

We breed for:
1. Good Temperament for the family collie
2. Health and body structure
3. Normal eyes
We produce puppies in 3 colors, the gorgeous and rare White, the popular Lassie Sable and the stunning tri colored.

Raising collies is a family project for us, everyone pitches in. We have many fond family memories built around our children, grandchildren and collies. We breed our collies so others can experience the joy of owning loving pets as we have with our collies. With our breeding program, we breed for temperament, health, good eyes and beauty. We hope you enjoy your visit to our Web site. We have captured some of our family fun with our collies in our photos.  As you can see, collies are a passion of ours.
Enjoy!
Gary and Linda

Our Puppies are very special to us, therefore
*We do not sell to Pet Shops
*We do not sell to Puppy Mills.
*Our puppies are not for resale-we expect them to live their entire lives with the adoptive families if at all possible. If a family cannot care for the Garlind Ridge collie for any reason, this collie should be returned to us.
*We do have puppy & collie visitation times welcoming those interested to come for a visit at that time. With our large family, dairy farm, collies, and working off of the farm we are very busy. If we granted visitations every time a family asked, we would have collie visitors nearly every weekend, taking away time from our family time which is extremely important to us.
We screen all potential adoptive families before they are put on our waiting/wish list for a Garlind Ridge puppy.
We are honored that 19 families now have 2 collies from Garlind Ridge and 4 more are on the list to get a 2nd Garlind Ridge puppy in the future.
We are screening adoptive families and taking reservations now for puppies to be born in 2009!
(puppy picking goes according to the date of when the questionaire is returned and accepted as being on the waiting list)
For the safety of our puppies, we do not allow visitors until the puppies are at least 4 weeks of age. Please do not ask to see puppies younger than this. We appreciate you honoring our request for the safety of our puppies.
Our collies are a passion of ours.  We love our collies and do what is best for them and their offspring.  We place our puppies in the best possible homes and have the right to refuse anyone the adoption of one of our puppies for any reason at any time should we not feel comfortable with it.
